- Now that’s was one hot (batteries required) type of hot read.
Amara a lone wolf, or so she thought... well until destiny or in this case the ancients step in to change that...
Luc Thunderfoot has done it he found their mate, yep THEIR MATE, the challenge is for all four brothers Hakon, Drasko, Luc and Rone, each with their own unique personalities, strengths and flaws have to step up and claim Amara as their own!
Things don’t go as planned but any good relationships has it’s ups and downs.. pun intended..
definitely not going into anymore details this really is a fast hot steamy book that you must grab and read for yourself.
I have read books by this author before and loved them so when I heard she was venturing into the PNR Reverse Herem genre I knew I had to one click, so glad I did the author hasn’t disappointed, another wonderfully written well detailed and thrilling read.. oh and the sex!! Tara West sure can write some hot and horny sex scenes.. (Fans face) be prepared for a cold shower or two! And a good supply of batteries.. you can never have to much sex in these type of books. - Based upon the summary, I thought we were going to have a strong no nonsense female character. Nope... The MC is weak in soooo many ways. It's pathetic. She lets everyone dictate her life.
Also the whole... you are going to have our kids blah blah blah BS. Like no one even asks her what she wants. They literally kidnap and tell her what her future is going to be like and she JUST GOES ALONG WITH IT!!! .... Like what!? The storyline was somewhat interesting but I can't stand a Protagonist with no back bone. The whole thing makes me cringe. Obviously I am one of only a few to give this book a bad review. So if you like the whole damsel in distress thing, shifters and all that - you will like it all right. Perhaps even love it.
However, if you are like me and enjoy an ass kicking female that actually make the men in her life earn her love - I suggest you look elsewhere. This character is no alpha female in a paranormal world that seems ruled only by alpha males.... cue eyeroll.
The author is good, but based on this book alone.... I have no urge to look into any other books by this author. Just not my cup of tea. - OMG is this book totally mind blowing and absolutely amazing!! I could not put it down from the very page and it is just full of some of the most incredible writing ever. We get a remarkably detailed world of shifter that includes things that I have never read before making it fascinating!! Then we get the characters that you can both love and hate plus I give them mad props for their restraint (read it you will understand). I cannot wait to get my hands on the next installment as I have to see where this is going. If you like paranormal wolf shifter reverse harem novels then this is an absolute must read. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
- Meh, this was a disappointment for me, especially the sex scenes--it didn't take me long to grow bored with slick ribbons (huh?), bullseyes, and buzzing foreskin (what does that even mean?). The storyline was interesting, but there was a lack of character maturity. On the positive side, excellent world-building-- the author created a unique concept with great sub-plots which kept the pace fast and interesting. I suppose my main problem was with the lack of character depth-- the author missed a lot of opportunities to create exceptional tension and drama between the protagonists, but waved it in favor of sullen men and brains stuck in porn mode. The sex scenes were hysterical, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the writer's intent. Unfortunately, the creative word choices to describe genitalia and sex left me snorting in disbelief and pulled me out of the story-- I fast-forwarded over a lot of the sex to get back to the story.
- What a book! Right awayI felt that Amara was a very relatable person. With her unhappy upbringing and love for animals, I really felt for her, like I could understand her even though we were worlds apart. Then once her mates showed up, wow! Lots of hot action there, that's for sure! I understood her early indecision, but her instincts were taking over too. It had to be so confusing for her at first. I really loved the closeness of each family of shifters and how their rules were so closely followed. Love, magic, danger, fear, excitement, sex ..it is all here! I highly recommend this book if you like love and shifters. You won't be disappointed.
- I just finished reading my ARC of hungry for her wolves and I have no words to describe how good it is. I devoured it in one sitting falling in love with each and every wolf... Even those annoying second alphas, lol. Tara, I am ready for book two like right now.
