Matthew 71, in God's Holy Word, advises "judge not lest ye be judged". Whether or not we know it's exact location, all GOOD CHRISTIANS, know it's in there and quote it often. Certainly and probably exclusively when someone is standing in judgment of them.

No one that knows Zion Young would dispute that she was a rising star. In what arena? In whichever one she happened to pursue. As fate and the voice of God would have it, her chosen path was one of service. Now, as a "preacher's kid" you would think that meant missionary work or some other traditional path in service of the Lord. However, Zion was anything but traditional. Her calling lead her to the Brabham Correctional Institution in Illinois. Her mission...to mitigate judgment for the men who would inevitably face it, post incarceration. No small task, to say the least. But, judgment was that one arena that made her feel as though she didn't measure up, personally. She was driven by and often haunted by questions of internal judgment. Was she doing enough? Was the path she was on truly chosen by God or her own ambitions? And, the all encompassing and inescapably humbling question...was she a good Christian?

While on her path to answer those questions, impact the lives of the men she encountered at BCI, she found that the external judgment she was trying to render powerless, & the internal judgment of which she preached against were both threatening to overtake her. In the midst of her somewhat hypocritical struggle, love comes from the most unexpected place and EVERYTHING, even God's plan for her, changes. Or, does it?
